Info for new students

In the beginning of spring and fall semester, you are welcome to try out one dance class of your choice free of charge. Please sign up for your trial class beforehand via email ilmoittautuminen@razzmatazz.fi.

Signing up to a trial class does automatically ensure a place for you for the semester. In case the class is fully booked before the start of the semester, trials are not possible for that class. If you decide not to continue the class after the trial, we kindly ask you to cancel your participation at the reception or via email.

For first timers, we recommend open level and beginners’ classes. For students with previous dance experience, we recommend open level and intermediate/advanced classes. If you need more information on dance styles and class levels, we are glad to help.

Enrolling for classes

The fall season starts on Monday 18.8.2025.

Enrolling for dance classes is done via Hobiver, and that reserves you a place for the entire year. Confirmed registration is thus automatically valid from fall semester to spring semester, but you can cancel your registration before the start of spring semester if you wish.

If the class you would like to take is already full, you can register for queue (through Hobiver). If a place at the class is freed, we will send an automatic email to students in the queue. You must confirm your place within three days.

Our studio has a reception, where all students sign up before every class. The reception opens 15 minutes before the first class of the day and closes when the last class starts. In other locations, students sign up directly to the teacher at the beginning of each class.

Students do not have to inform about absences from dance classes. Students who have registered for a class, can attend other classes to replace absences during the ongoing season, also in advance.

For example: you attend one 45-minute class during the fall season, you pay 96€ for the rest of the season.

NOTE! The additional discount does not apply to four-time courses. Prices include VAT. 14% The prices do not include insurance, so please make sure that the dancer’s own insurance is valid.

The tuition fee is binding, and the fee is not refunded if the student quits in the middle of the term.

Family discount -15€ from the total price.
Student discount -15€ from the total price of the tuition fee.
Student discount for 4-10x courses – 5€.
Student discount for 3rd degree students (university and universities of applied sciences).

Show your student card at the reception immediately at the first dance.

Dance gear

We recommend wearing comfortable clothes suitable for moving and exercising. Remember to take a water bottle with you as well to stay hydrated.  Street, house, commercial and twerk classes require shoes. At other classes, you can dance with just socks on or bare foot.
